ON THE BRINK

Toby Baddeley
Theo

Toby Baddeley is a recent graduate from the Actor Musicianship course at Guildford School of Acting. This
will be Toby’s first time performing in Austria and he is very excited to playing Theo in ‘On The Brink ‘with
Vienna’s English Theatre. He has just finished performing as Dromio of Syracuse in Shakespeare’s ‘The
Comedy Of Errors’ in The New Forest with the London Touring Players. Earlier this year he played Toad in
‘The Wind in the Willows’ and The White Rabbit, in an Alice in Wonderland themed one man show. Toby
has also worked extensively as a voice artist for TV and radio as well as playing alongside names such as
Michael Gambon, Juliet Stevenson and Brian Blessed.

Izzy McKenty
Tiggy

Izzy is a 24 year old actress born and bred in Bath. She trained at the Manchester School of Theatre and
graduated in 2020 and is now based in Manchester. Izzy has been acting at theatre school since she was 6
years old. She is so excited to be touring Austria, especially performing such an important piece of writing.
Izzy recently played Hermia in an all female production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. She will also be
appearing in ‘Wait for me’, a feature film being released in the UK in 2022. As well as acting, Izzy writes
and performs spoken word and also stand up comedy. She was a semi finalist in a stand up comedy
competition called the ‘Funny Women Awards’ in the UK. She has also written and produced a short film.

Mark McMillan
Creon

Marc McMillan (he/him) is a Scottish actor and singer/songwriter based in Glasgow, who completed his
training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2021. Marc loves exploring and improving upon his
cultural awareness, this is one of the many many reasons he is honoured to be part of “On the Brink” for
Vienna’s English Theatre. Marc is an extremely open and approachable character so please don’t ever
hesitate to approach him to just say hello or to ask any questions about the piece!

Jess Woodward
Liana

Jess is originally from North Yorkshire, she trained at The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, graduating
with a BA (Hons) in Acting. Jess is also a successful singer, playing numerous gigs in a band back in
Manchester; she also is a passionate puppeteer. She is a keen writer and performer and loves creating
work about important issues like Feminism, LGBTQIA+ issues and mental health.
Her credits include: ELEPHANT ROCK (Badapple Theatre, UK Tour), TANGO’S BIG ADVENTURE (Hive
North), PUSS IN BOOTS (LADA Pantomime) A WOODLAND WINTERLAND (Walking Theatre company)
and AN INSPECTOR CALLS (Footlights Theatre Company)
