Romy and Julian

Richard Blackman
Mr Caple

Richard went to Birmingham School of Acting and continued his training with Sam Rumbelow and Steven Ditmyer in London. Credits include two different productions of part verbatim, part improvised musical comedy ‘Tell Me About Your Ex”, the first full scale staging of the musical ‘3 Summers” at the Birmingham Rep and several Shakespeare productions with Instant Classics, Ashrow Theatre and the Cambridge Shakespeare Festival. Richard enjoyed singing boy band songs in amateur pantomimes before discovering something known as a ‚key‘. Now he is an actor first and foremost but loves a good old sing song now and again. Just don’t ask him to sing the entire libretto of ‚Les Misérables‘ as you will be sat there for his whole five and a half hour performance.

Emily Panes
Romy

Emily graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in 2017, where she studied on the BA Actor Musician course. She was recently in The Dance Hall, at The Blue Elephant Theatre and Bloomsbury festival. She also appeared in Mary Stuart the Musical (Karamel Club) earlier this year. Credits while training include ‘Oh! What a Lovely War’, ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘The Nativity’ and ‘As You Like It’. This is her first professional tour and she can’t wait to explore Austria!

Eben James
Julian

Originally from Wales, Eben is an actor and musician who graduated from Rose Bruford College. This is Eben’s professional debut, and he is so excited to be playing Julian. At drama school he appeared in Constance & Sinestra and The Cabinet of Screams (Action To The Word), Island Song (Carner & Gregor) and The Government Inspector (Told By An Idiot).

Bianca Mulligan
Mrs Moore

Bianca trained at ALRA (The Academy of Live and Recorded Arts) in London. After striving to secure a place with a touring company since graduating in December, she is over the moon to begin working with Vienna’s English Theatre as part of the Schools Tour 2017/18 season. She is multi-roling as ‘Mrs Moore’, ‘Sara’ and PR Woman ‘Katie’ in ‘Romy and Julian’. This year she has written and performed in her own one women comedy ‘The Crazy Cat Lady Next Door’ and has worked in Bromley’s ChurchHill Theatre, playing ‘Izzy’ in ‘Queens of Day Time’.
