Jojo Rosales
From a small countryside town Jojo Rosales moved to the big city with big dreams – becoming an actor. He was first put into acting, singing, and dance lessons by his mother from the age of 5 and from that point on knew that the only career he ever wanted was that of a creative. The move to London was an obvious one as there were not many opportunities in the countryside for an aspiring actor, especially not one with such big aspirations, and so moving there to obtain a degree in acting was the natural next step. From being humbled by Drama School to performing on award-winning stages, Jojo has partaken in productions ranging from the Shakespearian to the Contemporary – playing lead roles such as the villainous Mouse King in The Nutcracker, and the idealistic and tenacious revolutionary of Sasson Abrahim in The Mother of Kamal. Today, he is Rob in Vienna’s English Theatre’s production Rob and The Hoodies and incredibly excited to share such a vivid and colourful world with everyone. In his spare time, Jojo sings and plays the guitar and loves to go walking.
Alex Laughton
Alex is an actor, singer and dancer who has recently graduated from Guildford School of Acting in England. From childhood, Alex knew he wanted to pursue a career in acting, being inspired by the British TV show Doctor Who. He knew that if he could make a career out of doing something he loved, he would be very happy, and indeed feels very lucky to be doing so now. Alongside acting, Alex is also a passionate acting teacher, making him incredibly excited to be a part of the cast of Rob and the Hoodies, providing accessible theatre for young people in schools whilst getting the opportunity to travel around Austria. Alex hopes that this show will not only help people to learn to speak English but also that it will encourage people to value and get involved with the arts. Outside of acting Alex is a huge football fan who loves a kickabout with his mates and going to watch Manchester United at the pub with his family.
Jocelyn Dunne
Jocelyn is an actor-musician from London. She grew up in a musical family and loves the combination of music and theatre. She plays reed instruments such as flute, saxophone and clarinet, among others. Jocelyn is also creative in other ways, she loves sewing clothes and crochet too. Alongside performing in plays, she has a love of writing, and is currently in the process of writing her first book. Jocelyn is very excited to travel for work, she has previously performed in shows all around the UK, but loves visiting new places so is looking forward to meeting many new people and sharing the joys of theatre.
Alfie Mazzei
Alfie’s two favourite things to do in the world are to act and to travel… And that’s why he said, ‘YES, YES, YES!’ to the opportunity of touring Austria with this wonderful play. When he was 5 years old, he watched the film Oliver! and from that moment on, never gave up on his dream of being an actor. He also sings with TikTok stars, loves to climb rocks, and eats way too much peanut butter. He’s so excited to meet you all and hopefully make you laugh out loud!! Genießen Sie die Show!
