Will graduated from Mountview drama school in November 2022, with Virtual Heroes being his first professional tour. Upon leaving Mountview, Will performed over the festive season in the immersive Christmas show: LaplandUK, playing a very silly elf called Porter.
Will previously graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2021 with a BA in English, where he was an active member of the theatre scene, playing lead roles that notably included: Macbeth in Macbeth, Sir Toby in Twelfth Night, and George Tesman in Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler at Cambridge’s ADC Theatre. At Cambridge, Will also directed an open air production of Twelfth Night as well as a couple of short audio dramas. Before Cambridge, as part of his company Marcus & Wilhelm, Will collaborated on all aspects of Stiffs: an absurdist-comedy that played at multiple venues and the Edinburgh Fringe.
Will is currently developing a piece of gig-theatre with a working-title of Nowhere’s End: a tragically-romantic solo play about the end of civilisation on a distant planet (with songs). He plays guitar, piano, and sings, and loves writing songs both silly, macabre, and about the mundanity of modern life (with a little bit of love chucked in as well). Will sees theatre as a way of being curious and critical about the world and the stories that shape our lives, and he is interested in the strange, the weird, and holding a glass darkly to society. Will is incredibly excited about the Virtual Heroes tour, and is looking forward to meeting students and audience members, as well as immersing himself in Austrian culture.
