Rebecca comes from Cwmbran, a small town in the South Wales Valleys. Being born and raised in the country known as ‘The Land of Song’, it was inevitable that Rebecca caught the musical bug from a young age!

After graduating with a First Class BA (Hons) degree in English & Drama from UWIC, Cardiff, she realised that no amount of books could appease her desire to perform. She soon made the move across the border to England where she trained at the Guildford School of Acting. Credits whilst training include: ‘Adela’ in Bernarda Alba (Electric Theatre, Guildford); ‘Catherine’ in A View From The Bridge; ‘Carrie’ in Carousel; ‘Ensemble’ in Jason Robert Brown & Friends In Concert (Apollo Theatre, NYMT); ‘Ensemble’ in NYMT In Concert With Matt Lucas & Friends (Vaudeville Theatre, NYMT); ‘Mae Bush’/ Chorus Captain in Mack & Mabel (Greenwich Theatre, The Company Music Theatre).

She was a member of the National Youth Music Theatre, appearing in their production of Songs For A New World (Bridewell Theatre) after previously playing the role of ‘Johanna’ in their productions of Sweeney Todd (Rose Theatre & Village Underground, London). A highlight of her career so far was in 2011 when she was invited to perform at A Celebration of Young People in the Performing Arts, a reception held by HM The Queen at Buckingham Palace.

In 2014 she played ‘Miranda’ in a modern adaptation of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest (Waterloo East Theatre) and followed this by spending Christmas playing ‘Cinderella’ in Hertford Theatre’s annual pantomime. This particular production of Cinderella & The Glass Slipper was set in Vienna Woods, so it will be fantastic to leave the snow machine behind and experience the magic of Austria for real! Rebecca is absolutely thrilled to come on board Vienna’s English Theatre’s ghostly adventure and hopes you all don’t get too SPOOKED!
