Laurie is originally from Huddersfield in Yorkshire and is a graduate of both Drama Studio London and the University of Cambridge. He has a wide variety of credits, including working with the RSC: in 2016 alone, he played a man who turned into a pig (Varken – short film); a man lost in his own memories (The House of Cards, Albany Theatre); an evil but foolish vampire (London Ghouls – web series) and narrated two documentaries (The Art and Mystery of Needlemaking; Germany’s Wolves). Laurie is a trombonist, enjoys cycling and, while in Austria, er hofft, sein Deutsch zu verbessern.
