Jack Finch graduated from the Central School of Speech and Drama’s BA Acting course in 2013. He was lucky enough to acquire professional work in his third year so took time off to embark on a touring new play called Fear of Music supported by Out of Joint Theatre Company. He played a disillusioned teenager in the gritty piece, which portrayed two brothers growing up in 1980’s Britain.

Since then Jack has been involved in many theatre productions which have included playing Lysander in Midsummer Night’s Dream (Courtyard theatre/ Whistle stop theatre company), Sebastian in Twelfth Night (St James’s theatre/ Butterfly Theatre Company), Dick Whittington in the Portobello Pantomime’s portrayal of Dick Whittington (the Tabernacle, Notting Hill) and Trim in Solace of the Road which was a punchy piece of new writing about children in care performed at the Derby Theatre and directed by the Artistic director Sarah Brigham.

Jack has also had plenty of screen experience having played a small role in feature film Chik lit starring John Hurt and Aileen Atkins directed by Tony Britten, William in French Cricket (BFI/NFTS) and most recently playing the Male lead in an exciting new short film starring Georgie Glen, written and directed by up and coming writer Daisy Stenham.

Jack is also a singer and musician who plays the guitar, banjo and penny whistle. He is also writing a one man show which is inspired by his travels around Britain in a campervan exploring the country’s regional identities.
