David Moss
David hails from Cheshire, and is now based in London pursuing his acting career. After completing his BA Hons degree in Drama and Theatre Studies at the University of Hull, David went on to train at The MTA in London, where he graduated from in 2011. Since then David has performed in various locations around London, the UK and internationally. He has been part of the NYMT and YMT:UK companies at a younger age; performing in Alan Ayckbourn’s world premier of Orvin, Champion of Champions and Annemarie Lewis Thomas’ Great Expectations respectively.
Whilst training, David appeared as Don Juan (Don Juan Comes Back From the War), Jim Fenner (Bad Girls the Musical), Kier Hardy (Dangerous Daughters), Buttons (Cinderella) and Eddie Flagrante (Zombie Prom). David also had the opportunity to perform on stage with Julie Atherton in her show No Space for Air, as well as helping out with new musical readings Cheri the musical and Playback.
Post training, David has performed as a cabaret performer in a number of cabarets, including Cabaret Confidential, and is a repeat performer for the popular Showstoppers! cabaret/review show at The Regal in Tenbury. Other musical performances include; Emerald (The Landor), and Passport to Pimlico. Theatre credits include; Slam the Write, The Merchant of Venice, Two and Sore Throats. David also spent 6 months as a lead production vocalist for The Showteam in Ibiza. He made his first TV appearance as a guest lead role on BBC’s Crimewatch (2014).
David has performed as lead roles in a number of pantomimes, beginning with Buttons in Cinderella, followed by the title roles in Aladdin (Ludlow Assembly Rooms), and Jack and the Beanstalk (Lincolnshire tour). Most recently, David played the part of Potty Pascal in Wakefield Theatre Royal’s pantomime Beauty and the Beast.
